Our Quarterly Mustang Luncheons
Fellow Mustangs, please continue to connect with one another by coming to our quarterly luncheons. We meet about once a quarter, and it'll be be noticed here on our website and by e-mail blast from Ferman. The location changes, so look for it on the website. Contact Ferman (fwardell@bellsouth.net or 704-236-5200) with questions or comments.

A couple dozen 1962 Mustangs enjoyed fine Italian cuisine and fellowship at our old hangout, The Open Kitchen. Many of our regulars were there and a couple of new faces. Longest distance traveled was by Robert and Sharon Cass from Charleston - it appeared to be worth the trip! (Photos by Ferman - that's why you don't see me . . .)
Robert Cass, Ed Finman, Tavy Seawell and Katy Shoemaker - all smiles!
Earl Taylor, Jim Allison, Jim Barnhardt, Dottie Barnhardt, Nancy Robinson, Drew Taylor, and John Apperson. All looking sated!
Greg Howren, Jim Thurman, Dan Page, and Bob McGowan with some fine-looking food!.
Many class beauties: Gaye Law, Lucy Grasty, Sharon Cass, Robert Cass, Ed Finman, Katy Shoemaker, and Joana Wardell. Well, Robert and Ed weren't beauties! Ferman was enjoying his favorite: Momma K Supreme pizza in between Lucy and Sharon.

Tuesday November 13, 2018 at Kickstand Burger Bar
Two dozen 1962 Mustangs gathered for a fun lunch at Kickstand Burger Bar here in Charlotte. The main items of discussion were travels, how the campus had changed, grandchildren, knee and hip replacements, cataract repairs, our next major reunion [60th?, 75th?], and how good we all looked! Furtherest travel this time was Chuck and Pam Richards from Charleston. (Thanks to Ed Finman for the photos!) Ferman
Wednesday July 18, 2018 at Joana and Ferman Wardell's Home (928 Bromley Rd.)
Eighteen of our 1962 classmates enjoyed the day at lunch and catching up on our comings and goings, families, and various ailments - ha ha! We all look and feel great - well, we feel pretty good most of the time. Then we all dashed off for doctor appointments, committee meetings, and naps, especially naps! This was after Drew's generous supply of adult beverages.
I'm planning for our next lunch in October. Here are photos. Are we looking good or what! We look mostly like did back then - ha! Do you recognize everyone?

Here we were at Classmate Drew Taylor's cool "Mountains in Charlotte" house.. Thank ya, Drew! We did a group takeout order from Camille's Sidewalk Cafe on Third St. and enjoyed dining in the pleasant setting on "Drew's Mountain."

Our Second Post-Reunion Luncheon July 10, 2013
Our second lunch July 10, 2013 at Kickstand Burger Bar on Central Avenue was fun! See photos below. We had about 20 alums and would have had more except for vacation season. We heard the same refrain, "Where are we going next?"

Our First Post-Reunion Luncheon April 3, 2013

We had our first quarterly luncheon on April 3, 2013 at the Open Kitchen in Charlotte. Remember dating there back in high school? We had about 25 Mustangers, all of whom said, "Let's do it again!" So, we are.
